Whilst working for Andalucia.com I have been doing a lot of work with Property Database Systems. I have taken a software package from a company and made it into an easy to use package that non technical users can operate with ease. Each company had different requirements meaning that I had to constantly modify and remould the software to suit the customer. MGM Properties International was the first website I implemented this software onto. This was the main test as to how well the software would fair against non technical users and to this day is still going well.
Lets Try Spain was an interesting test because it required the system to fit and work with their current web site. The same user requirements applied to this system, easy for non technical minded people to use and manage themselves from home.
Costa de la Luz Rentals was the first to inlcude an availability calendar. This has now meant that the system can handle rentals just as well as property sales. The advantage of this is that for every property in the system, a customer is able to view when the property is available, and in this instance, what price band it will be in too.
This was the most complicated and best system made so far. The language system was extended and modified to include everything for the first time for a seamless change between languages. The new features were ... features list, price/season ranges, long term/short term/sales split of properties.
